BLU Lunched Another Smartphone

BLU is continuously pushing out decently specced and highly affordable Android smartphones, which it's selling in the US unlocked. Today it's time for the Life One X to get a successor, the imaginatively named BLU Life One X2.

The Life One X2 has a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 16 MP main camera with phase detection and laser autofocus and a LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper with a LED flash of its own, the Snapdragon 430 SoC (with a 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), Cat.4 LTE, a microSD slot, and a 3,000 mAh battery (with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0). It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It comes with a metal finish and a fingerprint scanner in the Home button.

Two versions are already up for pre-order at Amazon. For $149.99, you get the one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while $199.99 nets you 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. However, if you pre-order the BLU Life One X2 today or tomorrow, you get 10% off, so the cheaper variant is $134.99 while the more high-end one goes for just $179.99.

Obviously all of these are prices for the unlocked handset, which you can use on networks. For now you can grab one in Gun Metal Grey (for which shipping starts on October 7), while the Rose Gold color option pictured above will become available in November.
